Duties: Install Oracle databases and configuration of database parameters to ensure timely response for end users. Perform requirements study for maintenance work, utilizing varied database servers for a large variety of modules/functions such as Solaris, HP-UX, Windows NT and LINUX applications. Monitor and improve performance of databases, data security. Safeguard and backup of data and database. Develop shell scripts, supporting applications and providing Disaster Recovery systems.

Required: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Technical Engineer or related IT occupation. Experience must include at least two years of experience with Solaris, Linux, Oracle 11g R2 for telecom/Retail/Banking databases, SRVCTL, OCR, Golden Gate, migrating databases from NON-ASM to ASM, HP_UX shell scripting, Perl Scripting, AWR, ADDM, TKPROK, OEM, Streams, Real Application Clusters, E-Business Suite 11i/R12, and Oracle Identify Manager.
